o   This beach is the best beach I have seen in Tobago. This beach was highly accessible, clean, and beautiful. Adjacent to the similar beaches of Castarra, the birthplace of former Prime Minister ANR Robinson and Palatuvier Beach, Englishman’s Bay is delightful.
o   The water is transparent far beyond any practical swimmable distance and the underwater views are spectacular. Fifty meters beyond the shore,  underwater coral centers abound. I watched schools of the sand colored fish swimming beneath me as well as beautiful blue fish that belonged in a coral reef.
o   There was a restaurant located at the beach’s entrance selling food and island souvenirs. However instead of ruining and dirtying the beach, the restaurant owners keep the beach clean.

o   This is an intimate beach and the difficulty of finding this location ensures that it will remain so. However for those brave souls willing to risk the narrow roads and steep hills that lead here, they enter the first beach that I give an UNEQUIVOCAL 10 out of 10.
